Threads is an in-progress magazine I have single handedly created for my Senior Capstone project at The New School. It’s a series made up of profiles of women from my community of Syrian Jews who are driving forces in the fashion world. I handpicked and interviewed, the subjects, wrote the profiles, and created the layout using Canva. I also photographed half of their portraits.

This piece was the final product of a campaign I directed, photographed, and wrote about for the third anniversary of the skincare brand, Testament Beauty. A collaborative effort between my boss (the founder) and I resulted in a photoshoot at a beach on the Jersey Shore and an article that luves on the blog section of the brand’s website.

The Junior Board has Arrived to the community — and PROPEL — in style.
PROPEL Networking Event
PROPEL is a nonprofit organization that promotes women finding their ways in the workplace. In December 2024 they held a networking event and panel to inspire and assist college-aged girls with their career aspirations. I attended the event, interviewed various characters on their experiences afterward, and I told the story using an oral history format.
Matcha’s making Moves

The Fold is a digital magazine that released their first issue in March 2025. I had the priviledge of writing a short piece analyzing Matcha’s place on the beverage totem pole. I interviewed various ‘matcha experts’ I knew such as a bloggers, baristas, and a concentrate business owner.

This piece was a NYFW recap for F/W 2025, I wrote it for BL8K during my time as a writing intern. I was tasked with searching and highlighting the trends I’d noticed throughout the different runway shows using the Vogue Runway app on a quick deadline.

Shortly after I started working at Testament Beauty, one of my first tasks was writing a sort article for the company’s skincare blog on their exciting skincare smoothie collab with Ouri’s NYC. I constructed a piece based on the information I was instructed to include and edited it together with my boss, Sophia Chabbott, and former editor at Women’s Wear Daily.
